I have a fondness for pictograms – those quirky little graphic puzzles that show a string of objects and/or letters with “+” or “-” between them to form words or a phrase. My fondness was nurtured as a kid in the 70′s when I would go to the beach and come across old Lucky beer bottle caps that for a time came with these little puzzle-diddys on the underside of the cap.

The fondness was re-ignited recently when I came across a tshirt design by The Chopping Block, whose pictogram on the front of the shirt I immediately identified with.
